because they’re brain washed by the super rich people; they’re fighting for the insurance companies and the higher upper class, the people who could care less for them. and they don’t even realize it
no. if you can’t afford insurance because you’re out of a job or between jobs, the government will give you a very affordable insurance plan from them instead of going to a private health insurance company.
Don’t you get medicaid and SS taken out of your paycheck? it’s the same thing

I don’t like being required to have health insurance. I can understand being forced to have car insurance because it is possible that I may injure someone with that car. Who am I going to injure if I don’t have health insurance? One would think I’d be injuring more people by not having life insurance, but that isn’t required.
I love how we stand in line to give up the freedoms that other people have died for. Obama is an anti-american if you ask me. Things have gone from bad to worse.
I think it’s funny some Americans **** it, since it is one of the most logical things in a modern country. They argue that it will cost more money for everyone and that the government will interfere with the lives of Americans. However, already trillion of dollars are spent on health care from tax payers for people who need it and the government will not interfere, since they just make it impossible for people to not have health care (private companies )
@HelmutHedd My dear Helmut, believe it or not, believing that you should help others doesn´t always mean you need help yourself. I am fortunate enough to be one of those who pays for others, not vice versa. I reside in Germany and that is how it works here and in many other countries as well. The only barrier to this is selfish people not wanting to lend a hand. If the shoe fits, wear it!!
Some of you view being forced to buy health care as an erosion of our civil liberties, okay.
If this is the beginning of “Socialism, “Facism,” and other looney crap, then tell me why have I been forced to pay property taxes that fund my local police, schools, fire dept., etc? And if I don’t pay up, my property will be seized.
And if I don’t pay my federal tax, l can go to jail.
By law, I’m forced to have auto insurance…want me to name more? And has the sky fell? No.!
this bill would be ok for everyone if only one little detail was removed. THE FORCING PEOPLE TO BUY INSURANCE!!! that is unconstitutional. and the goverment has no right to fine people who dont want coverage. this bill removes our RIGHT to chose for ourselfs. we are losing more of our freedom… im not against this bill just only against the forcing part. after obama signs this it will go to the supreme court to be repealed or at least have the unconstatutional part removed.

We will be taxed for 4 years before we get the healthcare jobs will go down again docters are quitting their training cause the state will tell them how much they can make (socialist) Not only will people who have broken bones or need strong surgery have to sit and pick a number. The goverment will have full view of your account and will have complte control on rather they should pull the plug or not when someone is dieing. it is up to them we get no say in the matter. This is Socialist.
51% of docters said they would quit their training if we got this healthcare we are already low on docters very low. They will tax us for 4 years til we get this healthcare taxing small bussiness 50% you know what that will do to workers ? jobs will go down worse if bussienss owners can barley afford the taxes guess what ? Less work. work is already doen 50% and counting thanks to Obama and his big tax and spend. America does not what this healthcare were in debt we dont need this right now.
We are low on docters sir. 51% of docters here that were training to be docters said they would quit when they got this healthcare bill because the state will tell them how much they will make a year. and then they thought what would be the point so not only are we low on docters their not even going to give us healthcare for a year as it takes 4 years to tax the **** out of everyone to save up for it and sence most small bussienss will be taxed 50% people will have no way to get jobs.
First, America does not have ‘universal healthcare’ and hopefully we never will. Second, America is a county based on capitalism meaning our government should not be involved in our buisnesses such as our insurence, overall healthcare, education, or even our economy in general. ‘universal healthcare’ may work fine in your county and many others but the American Government has no right to impose a healthcare plan on us.
What’s the penalty now for being a free man in Amerika? Is it just a large fine or do they put you in jail if you make your own medical decisions?
why? it is because some people like paying for the things they get and not having the government pay for it. (thats single payer). you can never learn if you just are given it to you with out work. this 1000 page bill can not be told in 4 minutes. ignorant
