In this part of Rush Limbaugh’s interview with Greta Van Susteren, Rush discusses Obama’s healthcare plan. Rush says that this country has the greatest healthcare in the world. Improving healthcare does not require a major overhaul. Rush believes that Obama’s push for changes in healthcare is all about him.

@networkingdefence1 You are an absolute moron… I’m in medical school and see everything first hand. There are already safety nets in the healthcare system and every doctor I know takes pro bono cases on a regular basis.

I don’t agree with everyone having insurance, but getting the government involved will be a mistake. The quality of healthcare will go down and the premiums will increase. I already pay high premiums now and don’t get doctor’s coverage, just major medical (self employed). We need to put caps on everyone involved in the healthcare system and make it affordable for the average citizen.

What? 12 million people are without health insurance. And those that do have health insurance are subsidizing it themselves because the claims are denied. Where are you folks getting your facts from, RUSH? You will listen to a guy whose political agenda is to destroy Obama and the Democratic party? It would have been far better to fix the problems that already existed; like the ever growing cost of insurance coverage. Instead we will be paying more for less; preexisting conditions could have been easily drafted in any real reform with affordable quality coverage for all citizens. No one is presently denied emergency care in this country whether you can pay or not. SCHIP already covers every child in the U.S till the age of 19. The real problems have not been resolved but made far worse.
People care more then you think. It would be far better to do something right then wrong! This ill conceived health care reform is throwing out our entire system. That does include many of the positives on an unproven over bloated bureaucratic system in which our choices will be limited. It is unfortunate that our own doctors will now be told what treatment they may give. As if the government has a positive track record on running any health or entitlement program that is not going bankrupt
Unfortunatly these aholes on here do not care about anyone but themselves. It absolutely is time for a new revolution… go take their **** from them and make them the new poor. Then these scum bags will know what its like.

The end result is that it will finally ration out our health care to cut expenses while letting people in our nation needlessly suffer and die like those with ****** cancer. It has over a hundred new taxes that will not cover this plan besides a payroll tax. It is the most hastily ill conceived plan put together.
If this health care was so excellent why is congress not willing to impose it on themselves? They claim that it will lower costs when the opposite is true. It will tax health care benefits while raising premiums. We will eventually be forced into a system we don’t want; letting some bureaucrats decide our medical needs instead of our doctors.

If there are 30,000 people without health insurance it would be far easier and cheaper to simply purchase health insurance for them, rather than change the entire healthcare system. If this bill passes 50% of the doctors practicing will quit or retire….there will be no healthcare for anyone. There will be lines and waiting periods…it will NOT be an improvement.

I believe that the government is NOT trying to take control over U.S. Citizens. Everyone is in need of healthcare and Obama just wants to make sure everyone receives it. I am on Obama’s side and believe that this is one of the “changes” that he has promised us. We shouldn’t doubt him just yet. Let’s wait and see if this change would change the America. Besides, it’s time for change because as we can see, Bush never promised us anything. I say give Obama a chance. What do we have to lose?
