We got health care reform because the U.S. wanted it. Mr. Obama was voted into office on this issue.
-The health care reform is fiscally sound, it will reduce the deficit while increasing the U.S. citizen’s health.
-The private companies are still in charge, it just provides a public option, and stops them from dropping patients on a whim.
-The public option can be opted out of for religious or financial reasons.

Everything the republicans scream about is patently wrong.

“the savage, cruel response by self centered Republicans is not a surprise” — what’s savage and cruel about being upset that Obama and the Dems did not listen to the will of the people? We care about people just as much as you (Repubs give more to charity than Dems — look it up.) We’re just smart enough to know this approach to health care reform is wrong. Just plain wrong.

Health care is a right now.

…health care isn’t even thought of in the constitution, and I can give you a guess as to why…THE MEDICAL PROFESSION DIDN’T EXIST

  9. Zooomabooma said

Exactly! Exclamation point shouldn’t be used because it’s sad that there’ll be more patients in the system and LESS nurses and doctors. How is that good?

@aztecadog You should probably go to the library and read a history book, or better yet, talk to a WWII veteran. I’m sure they can help you get your facts straight.

Do NOT associate with those given to Change! The Lord has made all for Himself, Yes, even the wicked for the day of doom. Even a child is known by his deeds, Whether what he does is pure and right. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding, In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty! Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people -Proverbs FEAR NOT

Please show me where in the health care there is the provision for controlling costs.

“It was Clinton who originally said that Iraq had WMD’s ”

But it was Bush who erased the unanimous opinion by 23 intelligence agencies that “Iraq does not have any WMD’s” before presenting the same 23 intelligence agencies findings to congress.

Whether congress or republicans or democrats voted for it is irrelevant because they were misled by Bush.

2- the savage, cruel response by self centered Republicans is not a suprise. they now whine about “States Rights”!! just like theyre grandaddys in grey did at Shiloh!!……guess what johnny reb! ya lost again!! haw haw haw! aint that somethin now! ya scallywags!

  17. Zooomabooma said

Not everyone without health care is fat and lazy, that’s true. But some are and they will qualify for free health care. I should NOT have to pay for them if I do not want to. That act of charity should be MY choice. Yes, everyone should have access to affordable health care insurance but to freely hand that out to people is wrong. Health care is charity and it is NOT a right. Please read the Constitution.

It probably would be a good idea for poeple to pick up a history book or talk to a WWII veteran to find out exactly how socialism led to a government run state eventually turning into the fascist movement led by Adolf Hitler, who then declared war on the world and killed over 6 million Jews.

@Arun999 Bush doubled the size of the Department of Education. Pumped more money in and got nothing out, obviously. Also I’m not a “republican”, I believe in the individual, nothing more. because there is nothing more, all you have is yourself

I’m sure you had a reason for psychoanalyzing me via the internet…which not even a veteran psychoanalyst would claim to be able to do. But, you simply ignored what I really said and in turn distracted from the subject by calling me names and caricaturing me. Good try though.

Thank the Democrats as well, they voted for the war too.

It was Clinton who originally said that Iraq had WMD’s

@syetolove69 does not matter, the alphabet agencies are the same- they control the same fronts with unlimited budgets. Explain to me how this is any different?
