To bad for you … you can blame the private insurance companies for NOT PLAYING BY THE RULES…. there denying care because of pre existing conditions… there raising costs to unsustainable levels… somehow your confusing socialist programs to TOTAL socialism… NOT THE CASE…. socialistic programs are already alive and running in the USA and they work …. stop making it a big issue because the free market will always remain with PRODUCTS…. but it doesn’t belong in health care period
Both bailing out greedy corporation and universal healthcare are SOCIALISTIC policies. I disagree with both and was equally as upset with Mr. Bush as I am displeased with Mr. Obama’s. I do not appreciate being taxed to supply for another citizen’s healthcare, unemployement, student loans or any other services. Government is supposed to protect each citizens right to liberty and property. Socialism forces you to give it away to others. If you think healthcare will be free….
Screw your idea of charity… charity is not helping American families and rising insurance costs… we cant keep the system the way it is because NOTHING will change… American families are being ***** by the private insurance companies…. to hear you cry about a little extra taxes is pathetic when the other option is leaving MILLIONS to suffer…. maybe you should apologize to the 44,000 Americans that die every year from lack of insurance coverage….

Really? Do you also think food, a home and education are rights?? Where I was born people DO believe all these and more are human rights. Taxation is over 40% there. All these rights FORCE others to work for you. The problem with socialism is that at some point you run out of other people’s money. As far as helping the poor, charity has always existed… how did you think this country ran before ’social security’ existed? There where church hospitals and other non-religious organizations.

You will not here the dems breath a word of truth because power is the cure. They want to control the masses, Teddy Roosevelt first proposed national health insurance in 1912, FDR proposed it again in the 1930s. Harry Truman proposed it again in the 1940s. They’ve been waiting along time for this progressive power holy grail issue, healthcare is the way to pure Socialism, Reagan was warning of this as far back as the 60s.
