the bill doesn’t say that…but still, and who doesn’t love grandma, could someone remind why my tax dollars have to be spent to keep the elderly alive anyway? i’m not talking about functioning elderly, but when kids can’t get a decent education, hundreds of millions (billions?) of my money keeps full-care (can’t walk, eat, shit, shower for themselves) seniors going who are basically vegetables…alive? i wish the bill did include that, it would make sense.

Read the bill, and read it in context with Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel’s and Sen. Tom Daschle’s writings, which advocating severe rationing of healthcare for the elderly and the terminally ill.
The bill contains deep, deep slashes in funding for Medicare. I.e., slashing healthcare for the elderly.
It “appears” that our private system is ranked behind other countries with nationalized health care. IT IS NOT! The data that is used to calculate the US health care includes…car crash fatalities and war fatalities. If you remove those two catagories our private system is well ahead of nationalized health care systems. Oh…and we don’t deny BASIC health care to citizens with special needs or seniors with cancer, dementia, etc.

Read the language of the bill. If you don’t recognize that they are talking about suicide, and denial of healthcare, it’s because you are unfamiliar with the euphemisms and legalese that the pro-death movement uses. Well-informed people know the vocabulary that the pro-abortion, pro-suicide, pro-euthanasia movement employs.
OK…so I went to page 425 in the bill.
Guess what? It says NOTHING about *******.
